Our comprehensive psychological assessments are tailored to your specific needs and purposes. Conscious Mind Centre offer a range of assessments, including:
- Adult Educational Assessment – Understand learning differences and giftedness

- Adult Cosmetic Surgery Assessment
Adult Education and Neurodivergent Assessment
Our Adult Educational and Neurodivergent Assessment protocols include:
- Intake Interview Appointment
- Assessment Protocol (this typically occurs across multiple appointments)
- Preparation of Assessment Report
- Feedback Appointment to discuss outcomes and recommendations
Fees for these assessments range depending on your individual circumstance and assessment protocol, our current fee ranges from $2000.00 – $2650.00.
Optional Add-ons
Optional add-ons available for Adult Educational and Adult Neurodivergent Assessments:
- Support letter for employment or tertiary education summarising diagnostic profile and recommended adjustments – $300.00
*Optional add-ons are available for patients who have completed assessment through Conscious Mind Centre only.
Adult Cosmetic Surgery Assessments
As of July 2023, psychological screening became mandatory for anyone seeking cosmetic surgery procedures in Australia. Cosmetic surgery assessments are aimed to determine a patient’s suitability for cosmetic procedures and surgeries. Cosmetic surgery assessment seeks to understand a patient’s motivations for surgery, helps to ensure individuals are psychologically prepared for their procedures, and helps to minimise the risk of adverse psychological outcomes following the cosmetic intervention.
When is Cosmetic Surgery Assessment required?
- Everyone is required to undergo screening before major cosmetic surgeries both surgical and non-surgical
- To determine whether you may benefit from psychological intervention prior to the procedure
- When requested by your cosmetic surgeon or clinic
- For patients seeking multiple or repeated cosmetic procedures
Assessment is used to minimise risk factors of adverse outcomes for patients such as unrealistic expectations, external motivations, poor self-image, other mental health issues, distress associated with medical complications that may arise. Individuals with Body Dysmorphic Disorder have a greater risk of adverse outcomes following cosmetic surgery. Similarly, research suggests that other mental health disorders specifically eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma predispose an individual to higher risk of poorer outcomes following cosmetic surgery.

Fees for Cosmetic Surgery Assessment starting from $750.00.
Your cosmetic surgeon will make the final decision based on the psychologists assessment letter whether a patient is suitable for cosmetic surgery or procedures.
