This policy outlines Conscious Mind Centre’s professional standards for online interactions, it has been developed in accordance with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) Guidelines for Advertising Regulated Health Services and Social Media Policy.

Friending and Following

Conscious Mind Centre and staff maintain strict professional boundaries in our online interactions. Our practitioners do not accept friend or connection requests from current or former patients on personal social media accounts. We maintain separate professional profiles, marked with our official logo, for sharing educational content. Our staff members never follow patient accounts or monitor personal online activities of patients.

Interaction Guidelines

For all patient communications, we request that you email our Administration Team (admin@consciousmindcentre.com.au) or clinic phone 07 5616 2119 for any session-related matters. Please be aware that our social media platforms are not monitored for clinical communications. Any direct messages sent via social media channels will not receive responses.

Public Content Engagement

Our professional accounts (@ConsciousMindCentre) are used to provide mental health education resources, practice updates, and research summaries with academic references only. We do not share any patient-specific content. All comments on our posts are moderated and must maintain community standards. In compliance with AHPRA regulations, we do not allow patient testimonials or reviews on our social media platforms. Please note that any user-generated content on our social media does not constitute professional advice.

Online Searches

Conscious Mind Centre adhere to strict privacy protocols regarding online searches. Our practitioners do not conduct any online searches about patients. The only exception to this rule would be in cases of imminent safety concerns, and any such searches would be fully documented.

Business Listings

Conscious Mind Centre maintain control of our official online profiles, we do not endorse or monitor third-party review sites. If we become aware of any testimonials on these sites, we will promptly take steps to have them removed in accordance with AHPRA guidelines.

Compliance and Updates

This policy aligns with the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law (Section 133), the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics, and AHPRA Advertising Guidelines. We review and update this policy annually or as regulatory changes require.
